Dreumex has renewed the sponsorship with the Dutch rally-team XDakar that will participate again in the Dakar Rally South America in 2014. Sponsorship of Team XDakar is part of the international campaign “I love dirty hands” with which Dreumex, as an international manufacturer of hand care products, wants to connect with the hard-working man or woman with dirty hands.
Jan-Chris Heeger, CEO of Dreumex: “We are pleased to continue the cooperation with XDakar. The first sponsor year showed us that our target group has a great interest in the Dakar Rally and in particular Team XDakar. That’s why Team XDakar will again be the face of our “I love dirty hands” campaign. In the run up to Dakar the mechanics of Team XDakar will get dirty hands and get in contact with several soilings like oil, grease and sand while they are working on the vehicles. The mechanics can only perform in their work when they have healthy hands and ensure that Team XDakar will reach the finish line”.
All Team XDakar trucks and workplaces will be equipped with the Dreumex One2clean which includes touch-free dispensers containing 3 products: Dreumex Universal Protect, Dreumex Special / Plus and Dreumex Natural Care for a complete hand care program in one system. The service trucks are equipped this year with a total hand washing room so that all mechanics can clean and care for their hands during the Dakar Rally in South America.
“Last year it was the first time that we used Dreumex products during the Dakar. The Dreumex products were very pleasant to use. Other years we struggled with getting our hands clean, but now this was no problem. Because the Dreumex One2clean is a touch-free dispenser I didn’t have to touch the dispenser with my dirty hands. Healthy hands are crucial, both in my work and private life”, says Eimbert Timmermans of Team XDakar.
Dreumex will be offering several promotion products beginning June 1. With the promotion products end-users can win a spectacular trip to the finish of the Dakar Rally in Chile for two persons and a Meet & Greet with the Team XDakar. We are also giving away an iPad mini every month. Dreumex has a special promotion website. On this website you can see how the mechanics work in the run up to the Dakar Rally and how get their hands dirty, clean and take care for them. For more information go to: www.ilovedirtyhands.com.
Team XDakar consists of a rally car and two race trucks. Erik van Loon will drive again in the HRX Ford. Frits van Eerd and Eimbert Timmermans will climb in the truck. Peter van den Bosch is not participating this year because he would like to reserve more time for his family.
